The GRIHA Empanelled Consultant includes the firms/individuals that demonstrate expertise in delivering sustainable building solutions and supporting projects seeking GRIHA ratings. These consultants help clients meet GRIHA compliance by offering consultancy services like documentation, simulation, coordination, advisory, and implementation assistance to the project teams, and technical support across GRIHA’s various rating variants.
How to Apply?
Interested individuals can follow the steps below:
- Download the application form with declaration, list of annexures, document checklists etc. from GRIHA website.
- Compile the required documents, fill the application, and submit via email to Kamal Kishor (compressed folder if required).
- GRIHA Council will acknowledge the receipt of the application and will review the documents. DO NOT PAY THE EMPANELMENT FEES AT THIS STAGE. No fee is usually paid before evaluation of documents.
- GRIHA Council reviews the firm’s experience, qualifications, staff credentials, past projects etc.
- If the application is approved, the consultant/firm is informed. Then the empanelment fee is paid.
- On payment, an ecertificate is issued.
- Empanelment is valid for 2 years. Renewal after validity period requires payment of renewal fee.
- On receiving the payment, an e-Certificate will be shared with the Consulting Firm and will be listed on the GRIHA website within 10 working days.
Evaluation criteria
The consulting firm submitting the application should fulfil the following criteria:
- Should be registered/incorporated in India.
- Should have consulting experience in at least 5 GRIHA projects of any variant, out of which minimum of 3 projects should be rated.
- Please note: Pre-certifications will not be considered as rated projects. Should have at least 4 GRIHA Accredited Professionals (GRIHA Certified Professionals or GRIHA Evaluators) employed.
Please note: If an organization has 1 employee with both the certifications, the accreditation will be considered as 2. - Should not be blacklisted by any Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking in India.
- A minimum of two employees should have attained GRIHA V.2019 Certified Professional / Evaluator credentials.
Consulting Firms
New Registration: ₹25,000 + GST
Revalidation: ₹15,000 + GST
Validity: 2 years
Renewal: ₹15,000 + GST

- Discount on first few GRIHA project registration fees within first 6 months after empanelment.
- Discounts for participation in GRIHA training, events, summits etc.

- Empanelment certificate helps when bidding for tenders/projects requiring green consulting credentials.
Branding:
The consulting firm will be able to do branding with an association with GRIHA Council.
Ease while submitting bids:
The consulting firm will only have to submit the Empanelment Certificate instead of individual association certificates (GRIHA CP or Evaluator).
Miscellaneous:
10% discount in the registration fees of the first two GRIHA projects registered within 6 months from the day of empanelment.
